Gillian Linden Lenticular Art Prints
Gillian Linden was born in London. She attended the Arts Educational School in London and also studied fine art at the Paris American Academy, Paris.
Her journey to date has led her to reinvent her artwork as a digital artist, creating her own style of fine figurative artwork and crossing her work over to the pop art and urban, or street art movements. Through her astute observations and sharp humour she represents a unique perspective on modern, contemporary and pop culture.
Gillian's narrative of work explores three dimensional proportions to represent the balance between the figurative and surreal abstract worlds of life. Each lenticular artwork in particular offers a sensory, 3D experience that challenges the viewer to seek out each complex layer or the artwork. It also explores a fascination with the symbology of abundance, comfort, fertility, sentiment, desire and vulnerability found in the rabbit form, with each artwork fusing human and rabbit character into new forms in a surreal world.
Gillian uses a wide variety of mediums to create her 3D lenticular artworks, each one digitally layering geometric, abstract and figurative drawings with photographic and psychedelic graphic design elements and effects to create moving, three dimensional worlds blending reality and abstract surrealism.
Exhibiting at many art galleries in the UK and internationally, Gillian's modern, digital lenticular artworks are often collected and hung with some of the most iconic street art and pop art pieces. Her original art recently appeared in the Urban Interventions II exhibition alongside Banksy, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Shepard Fairey, Mr Brainwash, Eelus, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Her work is mostly sold to private art collections, and we're very excited to be working with Gillian on her striking and vibrant special edition lenticular art prints through our online UK art gallery based just outside London in Kent.
