Blue Sky by Gillian Linden is a lenticular artwork making dramatic use of three dimensional depth and perspective. Featuring one of the rabbit figures often found in Linden's work, the artwork follows it's gaze along the lines of the city skyscrapers to the blue sky above.
Linden works from developing series of abstract and geometric drawings, and in this piece has explored a textured style with grains of colour that echoes both modern pixel art, and the pointillism developed from impressionism by artists like Seurat and Signac; also found in some early examples of Andy Warhol's pop art.
These original art prints, strikingly realised in shades of blue, yellow and gold, are created for our online gallery through a UV printing process onto premium lenticular lenses, and box framed with anti-reflective glass ready to hang.
All of our lenticular special edition artworks are printed to art gallery standard through our own workshop just outside London in Kent, and are registered for authenticity and ownership through the Tagsmart registrar.
