Artwork Description
CYMCA1 is a contemporary lenticular art print by UK artist Derrick Santini, combining elements of figurative photography with pop art, abstract psychedelic colours, and an ever spinning feminine silhouette; like a moment glimpsed at a party illuminated by flickering disco lights which are enhanced by the light box mounting.
Like much of his work it tells a short story in it's few frames, given motion by the lenticular print animation effect; multiple frames carefully prepared to each reveal themselves as the viewer moves past the artwork on the wall; video art of a sort that feels like a glimpsed memory.
Produced at the Lenticular UK Art Gallery shop to buy as a lightbox mounted special edition artwork, this piece projects it's atmosphere into a room as a soft light glowing through the UV printed lenticular lenses. Professionally finished in a box frame with anti-reflective glass this original art print arrives ready to hang.
